Terms of Service (TOS) for Dicelette Bot on Discord​

1. Acceptance of Terms​

By using Dicelette Bot on Discord, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service (TOS). If you do not agree with these TOS, please do not use Dicelette Bot.

2. Description of Service​

Dicelette Bot is a Discord bot designed to help users generate random numbers and roll virtual dice. The bot can be added to any Discord server and used by its members in accordance with the server's rules and these TOS.

3. Use of the Service​

3.1. Commands and Features: Dicelette Bot offers various commands for rolling dice and recording character sheets.

3.2. User Behavior: Users must use Dicelette Bot responsibly and respectfully. Any abusive use, including but not limited to, command spamming, harassment, or any other form of harmful behavior, is strictly prohibited.

3.3. Compliance with Server Rules: The use of Dicelette Bot must comply with the rules of the Discord server on which it is used. Server administrators have the right to restrict or ban access to Dicelette Bot in case of non-compliance with these rules.

4. Intellectual Property​

4.1. Copyright: Dicelette Bot is open-source software distributed under the GPLv3 license. You are allowed to use, copy, modify, and distribute Dicelette Bot in accordance with the terms of this license. The source code is publicly available and can be viewed and contributed to on the official repository.

4.2. Usage License: By using Dicelette Bot, you agree to the terms of the GPLv3 license. This license allows you to freely use Dicelette Bot while adhering to the conditions stipulated by the GPLv3, especially regarding the redistribution and modification of the source code.

5. Privacy and Personal Data​

Dicelette Bot does not collect or store any personal data of users beyond what is necessary to provide its functionalities. However, interactions with the bot may be recorded by Discord in accordance with their own privacy policy.

The data recorded (in the database) by Dicelette includes:

  • User ID
  • Identifiers of messages and channels used by the dice model
  • Identifiers of channels for logs, the dice roll channel
  • Names of statistics and skills
  • Names of characters and their skills, as well as the identifiers corresponding to the statistics messages

The data is automatically deleted when the bot is removed from the server.

6. Limitation of Liability​

Dicelette cannot be held responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use Dicelette Bot. Dicelette makes no guarantees regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the service.

7. Modification of TOS​

Dicelette reserves the right to modify these TOS at any time. Changes will be posted on the official Dicelette website Dicelette. It is your responsibility to regularly review these TOS to be aware of any changes.

8. Termination​

Dicelette reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to Dicelette Bot at any time and without notice in case of violation of these TOS or for any other reason deemed necessary.
